Band looking for drummer
Drums Over Knives is looking for new drummers to join the band 🎶🥁
We’re a Berlin-based activist samba/batucada group playing at vegan protests, animal liberation actions, and climate activism events. We rehearse every second week on Wednesdays near Sisyphos.
You should already have a little drumming experience and be excited about the political/activist side of the project. We travel together 2–3 times a year to events in other big German cities, plus we play several events around Berlin throughout the year.
We currently have around a dozen songs with scores and recordings. There’s definitely a learning curve in the first months, but we also have a setup and support structure that helps new people settle in.
